Our 10 Questions

A couple of weeks ago, we got a blogger shout out from one of our favorite writers, A My Name is Amy. She was nominated by another blogger for a Liebster Award. Basically an award given to bloggers by other bloggers. (We’re trying to pass the love. This life is tough!)

She asked us to answer 10 questions about ourselves. So, for fun, Amy and I decided to answer for each other.

1. How did you pick your blogs name?

Both – Facebook was full of everyone’s perfect families when we were just barely getting by schlepping our kids around, working and picking up take out. Surely there are others out there like us??

2. Knowing what you know now, what advice would you give your 13-year-old self?

 

Amy for Kristen: Have fun and don’t take life too seriously.

Kristen for Amy: Whatever life throws at you, it’s going to be o.k. Just take a deep breath and have some Gin. (after you turn 21, what are you, crazy?).

3. What’s your favorite TV show?

Kristen for Amy: Orange is the new black. (Nailed it!)

Amy for Kristen: Game of Thrones (NO. FAIL. It’s the Daily Show)

4. What are three things you cannot live without?

Kristen for Amy: Gin, exercise and gin

Amy for Kristen: Red wine, yummy bread and good music

 

5. Who is your favorite fictional character?

Kristen for Amy: Kim Kardashian

Amy for Kristen: Dirk Diggler

 

6. What is your most prized possession?

Kristen for Amy: My mood ring. Bob always knows how I feel by the impression it leaves on his face.

 

Amy for Kristen: My make-up mirror. I got it in 1981. (BAM! YES!)

7. Describe yourself in three words.

Kristen for Amy: I’m fucking hilarious.

 

Amy for Kristen: A great mom. (ummm, have you read my blogs.??)

 

8. What is your guiltiest pleasure?

 

Kristen for Amy: Shoplifting

Amy for Kristen: sweatpants, wine and my couch.

9. What single quality do you most appreciate in people?

Kristen for Amy: humor

Amy for Kristen: Being able to laugh at themselves
