Girlfriends

Girlfriends are the best.  If you don’t have one, get one.  I’m reminded on a daily basis how important my girlfriends are to me.  Nothing or no one can replace them.  I love, need and adore my husband, my child, my family but it’s not the same.

My girls understand the trials and tribulations of the daytime parenting grind.  They understand my moods, my hormones, my quirks, my need to be in control, my anxieties, my aging body and much more.  They give my personal meltdowns equal time and concern even when I know my problems may be small in comparison.

Mostly, they make me laugh and not take myself too seriously.  They keep me in check.   Sometimes they even tell me what I don’t want to hear but that’s their job.

I love my peeps!!  Like if you agree (not that you love my peeps but that you love your own peeps)!
