What is this?!?

Hardly Getting By started with the thought that while it seems that many suburban families we interact with (or see on Facebook!) are seemingly doing well (Their children are AMAZING! They are GORGEOUS! Their lives are PERFECT!) there are some of us who are hardly getting by..

Meaning, we disagree with our spouses, battle with our kids, go to work and then partake in endless unglamorous errands all while playing beat the clock each day to get to the next thing. We KNOW there are more of us out there. So, we decided to start this blog to make fun of ourselves, revel in our children’s horrible attitudes, our ridiculous schedules, our body flaws and our inability to have it all.

Laughter is the best medicine (besides liquor). We hope you enjoy this blog!
